"If I Could Only Touch His Garment."

My heart goes to the woman who for 12 years suffered from an issue of blood.  You can only imagine what she went through: the smell, the humiliation, the fear, the rejection from potential suitors and the local population.

But then, she believed: " If I could only touch his garment.  If I could only touch Him. "  She wasn't looking for ceremonies, or rituals, or special prayers. She believed an iota of His grace and power would be enough to get her healed.

As Jesus walked by, on his way to an entirely different mission, She pushed against the crowd. She might have been trampled on, spat on various times, like she didn't belong.  But this time, her destiny could not be denied.  Her time had come. She would touch him.  She touched the hem of His garment.

She was healed instantly. This because she believed and she had the grim determination to work on her conviction.  The major point is that with an iota of God's grace, with a modicum of faith, lives can be transformed.  To touch His garment, you must study and meditate on His words. Follow His precepts.  A drop of His grace is all we need and we are elevated beyond our wildest dreams.

The job you so wanted but could not get; the pain on your side that won't go away; the dream house you've longed for but has been out of your reach; the child you could not conceive or have for such a long time; the happiness that has proven so elusive, your issue of blood you so want to go away. All you need is a little measure of faith. Reach out and touch His garment.

 That much I Learned.
